Caterina Pasqui
Portulaca
Also known as common porcelain and widespread throughout Europe, this plant grows in the wild. It propagates everywhere, without discriminating among different areas and surviving in almost all kinds of terrains. It fully blooms, however, only in areas exposed to intense light.
Caterina holds a double degree in Philosophy and Cultural and Arts Management and she is positively passionate about both subjects. She is interested in cultural management policies, but mainly deals with the practice and pragmatics of culture. After completing an internship at the European Federation of performing arts workers in Brussels, where she worked on projects related to exchanges and mobility of artists in Europe, she got right into the heart of things, getting involved in distribution management for ALDES, one of the most important contemporary dance companies in Italy. Since 2011 she is Administrative and Cultural Manager at Situazione Xplosiva. She also manages and organises the C2C International Music & Arts Festival. Her background in economics gives her extensive skills and experience in business planning, management and monitoring.
